pizza party @ 5.
i was just in the shower and i heard thudding and scraping. i figured it was the restaurant people who usually make a racket in the alley behind our apartment, but no. thunder! lightning! nature's metal show. mano cornuta to the heavens.
there's this hole in the bathroom door, a tiny one, the size of a nail, but through it you can see light on the other side. around the hole is a wee bit of fraying of the wood, and there's maybe been two instances where i pulled back the curtain and didn't think it was some sort of insect. every time those trickster holes-in-your-door. i guess the last guys didn't know a 4 inch nail would put a hold right through a 3 inch door. math is for poseurs anyway.
now i sit here, post shower, post dishes, a coffee thinking about the new percolator i have to buy since my apparently non-tempered bodum just cracked a chunk of glass off the top. always with the balancing out of stuff in life- the coffee i am using i got at harbuckle's for half price when they accidentally ground a whole pound. it seamed like a deal until This Fateful Day™ when i would have to spend the money that i previously saved.
that being said, it is important to always remember that events may or may not occur tonight that may or may not be blogged about tomorrow.
