my thought process on the way home:

what if a car hit me (we've had this one-sided discussion before), but i tucked and rolled- i'd save my brain but chances are my arm might be lost. so then i thought about being a great innovator, inventing a way to take photographs with one arm. some device, ya know? or learn another way, like the drummer from you-know-what-band. i'd be on Oprah or maybe even CNN. THEN, i thought, what if there's an implant you would be able to receive that could let you take digital shots with your eyes: couldn't get any better than capturing exactly what you see with the closer and careful aid of imagination and memory.

so i'm off to google some stuff, now.

EDIT: upon rethinking, your whole brain and both ocular units would have to be mechanized: you'd be half man, half photographer.
