i keep taking down and putting this thing back up... oh well, life is all about phases, right? i felt i no longer needed it, but just because i stopped writing regularly here, doesn't mean i don't have things to share and need to share with the internet.

raymi did an interview thing talking about twitter, and her statement that people's thoughts and ideas are more than 140 characters struck home. i now recognize twitter as what it should be: a promo tool for businesses.

it's really not as fun as reading blogs because it's so topical. i like reading and blogging because i am an emotional nut and enjoy learning about other human beings and how they work through their lives. twitter is like corporate training on a whole new level. it's teaching people to further compress how they really feel so that people don't get bored with what they have to say. it's a cubicle for the mind.
