... someone posted on a facebook invite with the excuse "i'd love to go, but i have swine flu!".

is she joking? i don't know but i'd like to think so since i find it maybe a little too hilarious.

in other news: i'm starting to get really sick of this "brave new world" bullshit advertising... some signs i've seen as of late include:

"You're just the brand we're looking for."

"The Power and Money Show"

"Buy! Buy! Buy! Buy!"

Really? You sure you don't wanna add another "Buy!" in there just to be sure you get the point across?
