some fucked up shit
yes, life and these seeming coincidences... they just get more complex, eh?
last week:
someone on my twitter mentioned sharon tate. so i googled to find out more about her murder and the manson family murders. came across crime scene photos. be careful what you google when you're too curious for your own good.
this weekend:
boyfriend has surgery, we sit around watching movies for a good portion of the weekend. he puts on a movie i've never seen, but was entertaining: Shampoo (1975). The movie stars Warren Beatty, Goldie Hawn, and some others. It's about a Hollywood hairstylist and his affairs (manwhore). Fine, good movie.
today:
i look up the movie on IMDB out of curiosity and start following links. sure enough, i find out that the movie was actually written about the real hairstylist Jay Sebring- hairstylist to the stars on the 50s/60s.
following a few more links i realize he was one of the people killed along with sharon tate in the manson family murders.
holy shit, right?
life is cool. the universe is feeding.
