wknd.

last night was quite the night involving the east end, what i believe to have been five different types of alcohol, tapas including serrano ham and manchego, sun chips, and some organized and highly overpaid meat grinding. what? that's what one of the fighters said last night- i'm gonna go be on him like a meat grinder! yeah! grind that meat! what?

i finagled a ride home from one of my brother's friends and we were discussing beowulf which he has seen and i have not. but he was saying it was a bit disappointing, mostly regarding grendel then it sorta trails off where my brain imitated alka selzer.

coffee number two is being consumed as some mellow tuneZZ play and we prepare for party shopping/decorations. time to go, bye fer now.

de rien.

It's snowy and wet today, and as I drove home I crooned along to various songs on one of them there playlists on the ipo'.

back in toronto for the time being since today is ikea day. we are utilizing van and my holidays to get more furniture for the place, though chairs will still be scarce. but we gots lotsa floor! shwing!

in other news: i am going to finish watching mallrats and make myself a fine beverage, too bad i don't have any glasses made of ice on which my lips would freeze during contact. i wonder how they get around that? i was watching this travel show on sweden and they showed the smirnoff ice bar where (holy jesus!) everything is made out of ice. apparently the drinks were very cold, well i certainly fucking hope so.

anyway, it is time.

p.s. buy adidas

there's a change going on in the community, folks- a change for the better. strange looking specifically ominous men are becoming user friendly faces. this change will effect you all on a level far greater than the physical. we not me are going to be effected by this basketballer way of life. sport is life.

...brought to you by adidas.

hectic week. catalog flat #2 is complete and at the printer, now we await their approval and/or proofs. flat #3 needs to be half done by friday or i have to work monday (no no no). so i've been working until 7-7:30 attempting to avoid working saturday, sunday, or any day next week.

tonight i am off to dre's for b-ball and dinner (in a bit). tomorrow i have a date thing then friday is shopping? or death. shopping or death, maybe both.

my thought process on the way home:

5x7ferment

what if a car hit me (we've had this one-sided discussion before), but i tucked and rolled- i'd save my brain but chances are my arm might be lost. so then i thought about being a great innovator, inventing a way to take photographs with one arm. some device, ya know? or learn another way, like the drummer from you-know-what-band. i'd be on Oprah or maybe even CNN. THEN, i thought, what if there's an implant you would be able to receive that could let you take digital shots with your eyes: couldn't get any better than capturing exactly what you see with the closer and careful aid of imagination and memory.

so i'm off to google some stuff, now.

brilliance, folks.

EDIT: upon rethinking, your whole brain and both ocular units would have to be mechanized: you'd be half man, half photographer.

maybe today will get sucked into a black hole (excepting all the work i've gotten done). maybe, if we're lucky, this blog entry will prove to be prophetic and i can go back to being me.
